Group Fitness Instructor

I started as a group Fitness (aerobics) instructor by accident. I was on tour in Australia, and a group of ladies were doing their group session. I thought I would join them in “the dance” segment. Everyone seemed shocked that someone with so many muscles could be so flexible and move smoothly and effortlessly.

What made these classes so popular was the toning aspect. Back then, group exercise (aerobic) sessions did not have a muscle toning aspect.

Today even as a master trainer at Gold Gym Dix30, I am startled and flattered by the popularity of these sessions. What a Joy!!!

Back then, instructors tried to make the most complex routines possible (especially “step” classes), which had zero connection to physical improvement but just to look complex.

Many realized, physique change, flexibility or strength endurance are what count.

I did this training system with all the many winners I prepared for Fitness and Figure competitions.
